AZ

We are now in our home in Leisure World, Mesa, Arizona. The journey from Arnolds Park, Iowa to Mesa, AZ is 1500 miles. The first day we traveled to Hays, KS and stayed two nights with our great friends Mike and Lee Carmichael. They used to be our neighbors her in Leisure World. They have three dogs and they love us. Lucky loves to sit on our laps and likes to be petted. The day we stayed Mike, Connie and I went to Ellis, KS. they have a wonderful railroad and doll museum. I could write many many stories just looking at all the photos in the museum. Ellis is an old railroad town and it has many brick streets. We also went to the frame house that was the home of Ralph Chrysler. He founded the Chrysler automobile. Very good museum and have one of the very first Chrysler (Had a flat tire) The next day we traveled through Oklahoma and Texas then to New Mexico and finally stopped in Grants, NM. Saturday we took off early and drove into Arizona and turned south through Peyson and finally home in Mesa, AZ. Everything was in good order. Had dinner with some friends and then to bed. Hard to get our body clocks adjusted to the 2 hour difference. Took us time to get computers operating and TV. I had a real problem getting my printer going and finally had to get help. Left my electric toothbrush and cord to Seagate. We had a terrible storm Saturday night and again on Sunday evening. Had tornadoes up in Flagstaff. Had to put on the air conditioner as up to 100 degrees. Went to Computer Club meeting on Monday and great to see all the old  friends. The president introduced Connie as the Godmother of the Computer Club. Will tell you more but enough for now.
